I live in Italy and I had experience working and living in other countries in EU. I would say that Italy is not a country for migrants at all because there are some Italian laws discriminating migrants and also bureaucracy that makes life more complicated even for Italians.

When I was attending night school, I arrived home one evening to hear that East and West Germany had been reunited. I felt fear because I heard since WWII how sick and evil the Germans were. I asked if he thought Germany would start WWIII now that Germany was united. He was very nice and took the time to assure me that Germany wouldn't start another war. But to this day, I don't trust Germany.

I am 58 in BC Canada I have a disability but by the grace of god I was able to get into a 55yrs and older seniors apartment building 3 months ago. It has many support amenities and my life is stable again but the homeless crisis is not going away. I have a pt job and can barely make ends meet.

I have a memory of watching people harvest kelp in Monterey CA in th 90s for a Abalone farm under the commercial wharf. A starfish (sea star😊) die off in the 2010s broke a lot of things including kelp. It's still recovering.
